The Armond V. Brown Enhancement Foundation was birthed to memorialize his unexpected transition on April 28, 2019, he was only 33 years young. He was such a wonderful, talented, happy, jovial (life of every party), with a loving heart and a giving soul--he was loved by everyone he touched. His parents, Bishop Charles & Pamela Heller, family, and friends wanted his legacy to live on through the Foundation. Thus, the AVB Enhancement Foundation was formed with his mantra in mind: "Everybody Love Everybody!" (ELE). The reveal of the AVB Enhancement Center was October 4, 2019 (Armond's birthday) and the Grand opening is forthcoming. The Center will house several Community-Based services and businesses.
AVBEF was created in honor of Armond Velton Brown who was an accomplished musician and loved the Arts. His passion was to teach children who desired to learn how to express themselves through music. In his memory, we endeavor to provide children a safe environment to thrive and achieve their dreams in the Arts.
We are a community-based organization committed to provide support to families and children who are disproportionately represented in our community. It is our goal to provide educational, social and economic resources to provide them an opportunity to enhance their quality of life.
Over the years, we have impacted the lives of thousands of children through our various programs. We have seen children who were once malnourished and sick, now healthy and thriving in school. We are proud of the positive impact we have made in their lives.
Our facility is available for community events. We have collaborated with other nonprofits to serve our community in the following areas:
We are excited to offer one-on-one or group tutoring sessions for children.
Supervised extracurricular activities can provide valuable opportunities for children to learn, socialize, and develop new skills.
A participatory learning experience, our workshops often focus on specific skills or topics. These workshops typically involve hands-on activities, discussions, and collaborative exercises.
Coping skills training is valuable for individuals of all ages to manage stress, handle challenges, and enhance overall well-being.
Homeschooling is a flexible and personalized approach to education, and we help parents adapt resources and methods to suit their child's learning style and interests.
Computer training is crucial in today's digital age, and we provide various ways to acquire and improve computer skills
Our mental health classes through the arts provide a unique and expressive way for individuals to explore and address mental health issues.
At AVBEF, engaging in dance, acting, singing, and learning musical instruments is not only enjoyable but also beneficial for personal development and expression.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
